Can anybody tell the architecture of server 7.5 and 7.0 what? Talking to architecture falls into the same category as talking to trees, but is less satisfying.

How could you not find the "answer"? You have 70000+ posts to read thru, you could trace the history from version 1.0 to 7.5 plus discussion on the Hawk release.

I think what you mean is that you can't find your answer in one single post.

Please quantify what the "perfect answer" would be.

Unfortunately, I'm not finding architecure information in the search. It will be really helpful, if you give me more specific details about link or place to search? If I have answers, I could have not posted this one....

Please ask a specific question. You've asked us something akin to "What's the difference between Windoze 2000 and Windoze XP?"

We can answer: Nothing. Both are graphical operating systems with lousy security.

Or: Where do we start? User experience, networking, routing, security protocols, advanced graphics support, blah blah blah.

All of your questions have been too vague. Nobody has answered because our answers would fill books. You might consider asking questions like:
I'm looking at 7.0 comparing it to 7.5 and noticed that Server jobs look identical. I've read the readme.txt files and with the exception of bug fixes, there's been no real enhancements. Am I missing something?
To which we'd answer:
Well, Sequencer jobs are technically Server jobs because they use the underlying DS BASIC engine. The Sequencer gained a lot of functionality such as checkpoint restarts, looping, and improved parameter capability. Something else that's different in Server is that the link collector seems a lot more stable than when it was introduced in 6.0. You need to consider that Server has been really the bread-and-butter money maker for Ascential since it was introduced in 1997. It's highly reliable and hasn't needed to change much except for some performance tweaks and database support.
Please consider this forum as a library. Stay awhile, do some research, ask some specific questions.

Many new stages were introduced compared to datastage version 7.0. In server jobs we have stored procedure stage, command stage and generate report option was there in file tab. In job sequence many stages like startloop activity, end loop activity, terminate loop activity and user variables activities were introduced. In parallel jobs surrogate key stage, stored procedure stage were introduced. For all other specifications, please refer to the manual.raj.

As of my knowledge the main enhancement i found is we can generate reports in 7.5 where u can't in 7.0

and also we can import more plug-in stages in7.5

Ray ........any inputs from ur side
