I have been getting CANNOT OPEN FILE DS_JOBOBJECTS error, when I try to open jobs in my project.

Can someone tell me what could be possibly wrong with it??

DS_JOBOBJECTS is the file in which the internal information of you project are stored. Are you getting continuesly.
Have you done any change recently like unix level project back up?
Got to Administrator client or TCL prompt and execute the follwoing command

Code: Select all

COUNT DS_JOBOBJECTS
and make sure you dont get the count without any error.
If you get any it may be bad.
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

Either your project is not properly installed or the DS_JOBOBJECTS hashed file has become corrupted. Either is potentially catastrophic. Have you ever been able to create jobs in that project? If not, delete the project and create it afresh.

Incorrect indexes will not generate a "cannot open file" message.
