Throwing error while connecting to DS Designer

Post by pmadhavi »

Hi,
We have Datastage7.5 installed in Unix machine.
We have been given one Admin ID and one user ID(for Development)
We have to modify the existing DS mappings if there is any change in the target.

the existing mappings are copied to a project in DS7.5
We are doing the development in another project.

3people are working at a time using the same ID.

Wheen they try opening the Designer, they were getting Run TIme Error 372.

"Failed to Load control 'ImageList' from MSCOMCTL.OCX. Your version may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided by your application"

Please let me know the error is beacuse of the common ID or there is some problem in the installation

We are in a very crucial condition. Please help us
Thanks,
Madhavi

Reinstall the Client software on the machines that are exhibiting this problem.

Yes, but not recommended. Separate IDs mean that you can easily track who did what, when it comes time to allocate blame. Or praise.
