Hi All,

I am getting the following Warning Message:

PRINTER memory segment removed
DataStage Job 3270 Phantom 14670
DataStage Phantom Finished

Could you please anyone advise on the above.

This is not a strange warning message. It is informating you that a background (phantom) process has finished. Where are you getting this error message?

Interesting note in the readme for 7.5.1A mentioned that they will no longer log these 'Printer memory segment' messages. FYI.

Apologies, This message was a Strange one to me, as I have not come acrossed it

I am getting this message after I load the IDoc's into the SAP IDoc Stage.

- Just to confirm, I actually re complied teh set of Sequencer/Jobs which I need to Execute and re ran the Jobs it worked fine.

Incase you'll have any information regarding the following message

PRINTER memory segment removed

The Printer-memory-segment-removed message comes when a UNIX DataStage process is terminated abnormally and another process is generated with the same PID and attempts to allocate space in the engine. This is detected by DS and the prior process' printer segment is removed. The message itself is informational and really refers to something that might have gone wrong on the previous (and not the current) run.

This is all available with a search of the forum. Arnd has covered it but there is also a 'Full Wurlod' on the subject from Ray as well.
