ODS Extraction from FDR

I am looking into extracting data from FDR, using ODS which my company just set up. Does anyone know where I can find information on how to do this. I believe that they are using MQ Series and sending a XML request in one connection and then waiting on another connection for the data but I am still waiting for exact details... anyone know anything about this?
