Dear All

I'm getting the following error while running 10 multiple instance jobs simultaneously via Unix script.

Error running job

Status code = -14 DSJE_TIMEOUT
Echoing:
The return code is: 99

Run glance or prstat or top to monitor your server load. You're exceeding the systems ability to quickly switch between tasks, and DataStage job control blew up. Search the forum, this is a common issue, there are some potential tweaks in the uvconfig file that can help out.

You could also try staggering their flight times so they're all not clogging up the runway at the same time.

Perhaps just a 5 or 10 second delay between job runs would clear that little problem right up.

Nothing you can change in uvconfig will affect your flooding of the machine with too much work.
