We are converting from the Windows server to AIX. When we apply the SAS ODBC driver we get errors. In the documentation that we are looking at, it states that multiple odbc drivers cannot run simultaneously. Has anyone come across this?

Here is the documentation that we have been looking at:

You should be aware that you can only use one ODBC Driver Manager at
a time, however. This means you cannot use third party drivers at the same
time as you use the DataStage drivers, and you have to perform some reconfiguration
to switch between the two types.

Hi Todd,

ODBC configuration under UNIX is a bit tricky, though the documents don't explain the "how to" in a manner, that somebody who's everyday-work is not ODBC can understand it.

But you're luky. Where did you get ODBC-SAS-Drivers for UNIX, I was looking since long time for that, but didn't saw any.
