The answer for storing hash files is that by default they go into your project directory, unless you specify a project name in the account field on the stage properties. The better choice is to use externally pathed hash files on the stage properties and designate the directory using either a parameter (highly recommended) or a literal directory path.

Make a hash file i.e DSHash n yu want to save it some directory so do it #PathName#/DSHash and it get saved in a particular directory.
