Is this Designer? Did you try Manager?

I would call support?

Read Only jobs move just fine. You do have to do this from the Manager and not the Director, btw. Should work from the Designer as well but I generally avoid using it for maintenance tasks like this.

Now if Ray were here, we'd get something like:

It snot wrking? Let me get you a hanky!

Hello,
I tryed moving jobs from one catogory to another with Manager, director & designer! Either of them allowed me to move the jobs. Hacking! fear of corrupting the repository. Any other tip moving the jobs?

Is the server on Windows XP? (I assume XP Pro - I don't think it will even install on XP Home.) What exact version of DataStage?

There are several issues with 7.5x2 on this platform.

It may also be the case that your Repository tables need to be re-indexed.

If it works for other people on other machines, but not for you on your machine, the first thing to try would be a reinstall of the client software on your machine. Reinstall it right over the top of your existing installation and let us know if that fixes it.
