Hola, mis amigos......

I need to know how can I compile in DS 7.5.

For my understanding, I can trigger a .bat file and include in it all the compilation instructions for compiling the desired jobs.

Any help, will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

No you can include these types of files in Version Control. These files have nothing to do with compiling.

It remains the case in 7.5 that compilation from the command line is not supported.

There is a tool called "multi-job compile" that you can access from the Tools menu of the Designer client; this may be the "new feature" that you read about. But it's still executed from a DataStage client.

I was talking about the dscc.exe utility, which may be invoked in a batch way.

Thanks to everybody.

No worries, Kim, it's probably another of those 'Windows Server only' things like uvwalk.

Your original post specified DataStage 5.x as the version; I paid more attention to that than to the subject.

As far as I am aware, dscc.exe does not exist in version 5.x. That was the basis of my earlier assertion.

No wucking furries.

Where is the "mate"?

If "mate" not stated, "mate" is deemed to be implicit, mate.
