Hi,
I am trying to extract out of a table from SAP R/3 and I get the following error at run time:

AbapExtract: R/3 Logon failed : Unable to obtain valid license for "sapdev1" connection i.e. SAP Installation Number: "0800000027". Please contact Ascential support to request a license for this SAP installation.

We are in the process of getting in touch with Ascential , but does any one had this kind of error before.

Hi all.

I know that this post is very old, but for the future:

If someone gets this error message, you have to restart the server.
After that the R/3- connection must work.
