ABAP Extract GUI

Hi,
Recently we have installed the SAP PACKS, and when I open the "ABAP_Extract_PACK_for_SAP_R_3_2" it looks like a socket and in the properties it doesnt have a dialog to build SQL Query (Which used to be the case at earlier client). Is this a new version with more complications or can we change it back to the way it looked
!

Hi Vinay,
I believe that your SAP R/3 Plugins are not properly installed. Try to reinstall the SAP R/3 Plugins. When its properly installed, the ABAP extract plugin should have a bulding icon with the words "ABAP Extract" written on it. Also make sure there is an output link from the ABAP Extract stage, even a dummy link to a transformer will work.

Have you installed the custom GUI on your client machine?

No, I was using the one on the server, I guess I need ot install the custom GUI , will do it on Monday and let you know guys.

How to install Custom GUI on client machine?.
Where can I find that?.

You have the software on the Acential or IBM cd, if I am not wrong.

Launch install.exe from client folder of the SAP R/3 PACK for DataStage
