RESTARTING OF A CHILD SEQUENCE

Hi All

I have constructed a sequence S1 which calls manu squences SS1,SS2,SS3. I made S1 restartable adding check point option. Again sequences SS1--3.. all are restart able.

While a job fails in sequence SS2 ... SS2 aborts aborting S1. The problem is while I try to restart the sequnce S1 after correcting the problem, SS2 restarts. But it starts from the first job activity while i expect it to start from the activity it failed.

I am using the running condition 'Run' in the job activity in S1 to call SS1..3.....

Why is it behaving like this? Is it the natural behaviour of datastage? How can I implement this funtionality in DS.....

Are you using the termination activity and using the send stop requests for running jobs inside the sequence?
