I found this reference in the book, but it was referring specifically to the dependencies attributes. I think you might be mistaken about being able to use this, perhaps you could say which PDF document on which page you found it. (if it's Server Job Developer's Guide on 17-11 you found what I did).

Oh, sorry , I found it in Ascential Datastage Designer Guide on page 4-73. It may only be applicable for Dependances.

It just seemed like I should be able to use that to specify relative path in all of our sequential files....maybe I'm wrong.

I should have looked at the server job developers guide before I replied. The text is the same there as it was where I was looking.

So you think that only works in Job Dependancies tab?
