How to invoke documentation tool in a command line?

Post by gordonxiao »

Does anyone know how to invoke the documentation tool in a command line? We don't want to run Manager every time to run the documentation tool.

Thank you.

The answer is that it cannot be done. There is no command line interface for the Documentation Tool. Export to the other database must be done through Manager.

Once the export's been done, the results are in the other database and you can open that directly. For example, if you are using the default (doc_tool.mdb), you can simply open that using Microsoft Access.
