Administration Question (New Users)

I am trying to add a new Data Stage developer and went to the server to add them to a user group. I wanted to add them to a existing group called DataStage Developers, but when I do they can't log into designer or any of the other applications. The only way that I can make it so she can logon is if I add her to the Administrators group, but for audit reasons this isn't going to be good. Anyone ever have this problem?

Is the DataStage Developers group associated with a DataStage role? Were you actually successful in adding the user to the group?
