I want to rename the Job category.
Is there any way to do that. If I cannot Y is that feature not enabled in Datastage.

u can create multiple sub-categories under Job and use it but i don't think that renaming the Job category itself is possible.

you can not rename the category..but you can get the same result by creating a new category with the name you want and move the jobs from the category you want to rename to this new category...and then delete that old category.

Or otherwise do search and replace in the dsx

If you want to avoid dsx implications as well as speed up moving of jobs from one category to another can be done just by select ctl+A of all the jobs in Manager and move it to new category instead doing one by one from designer.

There was the same problem discused on forum few days ago!! you can search for it !
