Hi,
We recently upgraded from DataStage 6.0 server edition to DS 7.5 server edition. I found some stages like Look-up stage etc., under Parallel jobs category.
Do we need Parallel Extender(PX) to use these parallel stages? or can we use these parallel stages with DS 7.5 Server edition?
I appreciate if anyone explains in detail.

Yes, you need PX in order to actually use any of the Parallel stages. You'll also find that the help will mention the PX and Mainframe stages, but unless it says 'Server' at the top it's not going to be of much use to you. 
Where are you seeing these stages? While the branches for Parallel stage types show up in Manager (etc) the only time something should actually be there under them is when you have purchased (and installed) the Enterprise Edition.
