I am now using Datastage 6x version. I need to know how i can use slowly changing dimensions in Datastage.

I believe you can do a search for SCD, or Slowly etc... and find a bunch of information regarding the implementation of SCD's within DS. I believe Ken and others have given wonderful discourse on how to do this.

The good news is that all types can be accommodated.

However, please do search the forum; it has been covered previously.

A really friendly gesture would be to reply to this thread with links (use the URL button) to the answers you find.

Ur question is not very specific. But slowly changing dimensions can be done using a hashed-file ( look-up stage) or at the simplest level by just writing into a file(by setting the option to update).
