$PROJDEF does not work for Encripted Parameters

Hi

I have defined a PassWord Environmental variale as ENCRIPTED type. While I try delaring the default value for it as $PROJDEF it does not work. Instead if I use the variable type as string, it works fine.

Since it is a Password Variable, I need to make it encripted.

Any suggestion.

this was functionality added at 7.5.1 - which version are you using {you didn't enter that information in your post, so we don't know}. An encrypted parameter can have the special value "$PROJDEF".
