DS-Director : Error getting job status.

Post by sun786 »

I have few jobs that show up the job status in the director after the job is run( status, ondate, Last run, on date, Elapsed time, Description).
But one of the jobs do not show up any details after the job is run, it just has a message in the 'Description' feild as
!!Error getting job status!!
( Job is run fine and the log is also fine)
What could be the reason????

Thanks.

Something internally is messed up. Export and import the job.

Delete the job after export and before import.

Alternatively try to identify the job number of the job and check the corresponding RT_LOGnnn from which this action takes place.

You can also try to cleanup / reindex your project to bring them back to normal.

Job status comes from RT_STATUSnnn so the most likely thing to work is "clear status file". However, this will reset the status to "compiled". You should be able to determine the real status by inspecting the log.
