Hi Guys,
I have a requirement such that i need to extract the data by connecting through JDBC Driver but not through ODBC.
Is there any option like that in DataStage Server Job.

DataStage Server does not use Java, so JDBC access to a database is not possible.

If you want to use DataStage you will have to use ODBC or the native database drivers to access your database.

In theory there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

Well, there is a Java "pack" available. I don't know beans about it, only that it exists and may let you do what you want. You'd need to contact Ascential about getting your hands on it. That and to find out the additional price tag, if any. :?
