(40521) Unable to retrive the link details for the stage

Greetings,

When i open the job it throws up some error message like "Record <> in file DS_JOBOBJECTS does not exist". And finall it throws up the error message "(40521) Unable to retrive the link details for the stage"

PLease let me know if you have encounted this and the corrective action.

are you using any of DS_LINKRow count routine in your job..

No, is a simple job with simple transformations. No routines are used.

You have lost the record in DS_JOBOBJECTS that describes the link, but the reference to it has not been deleted from its parent object (one of the stages to which the link was connected).

If the link is one that has been deleted from the design, the correct solution is to delete the reference from the parent object (stage) record in DS_JOBOBJECTS. Alas there is no utility for effecting such a repair, so you will probably need to import the job from a successful export.
