Numeric Validation
I am wanting to do some data checking on several fields within a source file.
I need to check that 3 of the fields only contain numeric characters otherwise the row should be rejected.
Any suggestions ?

Just a reminder: Num('1E2') returns @TRUE. You may want to add the Index() function to eliminate the E's.
Num('1E2') And Index('1E2','E',1) = 0 returns @FALSE.
Num('1E2') And Index('1E2','E',1) = 0 returns @FALSE.

"Why does Num('1E2') returns True? "
6.023E23 is "scientific" (or "exponential") notation. It means 6.023 multiplied by 10 raised to the power 23. If you remember high school chemistry you will recognise this as Avogadro's number.

And way too much useless information. I don't like feeling like I'm back in chemistry class!
