Hi,
I would like to know something aout Ascential product family...
What's the difference in Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite and Ascential Enterprise Edition?
Does both contain all the Ascential Products (DataStage, ProfileStage, QualityStage and MetaStage)?
Is 7.5 is the most recent version for all these products?
Do these products run on Unix platform, especially DataStage?
If any one can give me some input on these it will be very helpful...
Thanks.
Tom

The Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite tends to refer to the entire product set include DataStage Enterprise Edition, MetaStage, ProfileStage, AuditStage and QualityStage. The DataStage Enterprise Edition is a smaller bundle that include MetaStage.
Currently Enterprise Edition is only supported on Unix and Linux platforms with version 7.5 the latest release. The next release due at the end of this year or the start of next year will support Enterprise Edition on Windows and Unix System Services on mainframes.
DataStage Server Edition, soon to be rename Standard Edition, runs on Unix, Linux or Windows and tends to be cheaper then Enterprise Edition.
