Error

Hi ALL,
When i tried to open EXISTING job(afterposcustno) in designer i am getting the following error:
"Job afterposcustno is being accessed by another user"
ANY IDEA WHY ITS GIVING ERROR??

A previous session may have crashed and was not able to release the job. This topic has been discussed many times before such as this
link.

That "other user" can even be another window from your own PC; each window has its own agent process on the server. Deisgner locks, Manager locks, and the Monitor view in Director locks.
Locks can also be held by abnormally terminated processes, such as when your network connection is broken. This can be cleaned up (eventually) by the DataStage deadlock daemon, if it is running.
Otherwise manual intervention is required.
