Email Notification

I have read through some of the posts in this forum. I found out that we can actually download a third pary command line mail client to send email notification from dataStage?

However, i am blur or not sure about the steps to accomplish this. Can anyone provide some guidelines for me? I would like to know where can i download the mail client. After i download it, what should I do in order to make it work in DataStage?

Google for something like "free e-mail client unix", or go to mutt.org!

Mutt is a great little tool to add additional functionality to your email, but you don't need anything 'extra' to send email. DataStage comes with hooks to standard UNIX email and should be leveraging sendmail on your platform.
