Hi All

I am facing a problem running the parallel jobs
I have installed DataStage client and Server in the same PC which runs on Windowd XP.

I was able to create the jobs and compile it successfully..
But when I try executing the same it is giving me the following error..

"This jobtype is not currently runnable on this platform"

Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Anand

Quite simple, but not the answer you're seeking: the Orchestrate engine (which underlies Parallel Extender) has not yet (as of version 7.5) been ported to the Windows environment. That's the "why".

It truly is not - as the error message told you - supported on your operating system platform. We understand that a Windows port is under development, but it's not out yet.

Currently parallel jobs can only be run on UNIX platforms.
