In Report Assitant...I'm selecting the jobs I need in a report..
After clicking Update now nothing happens.......
In Doc Tool also there is no custom Reports under "DSReporting"....
How to generate report by this feature...

This has been covered a lot. Do a search but basically you need to bypass the forms. If you go find doc_tool.mdb in Windows Explorer and hold down shift and hit enter then you will bypass the default form. Then you can write any Access report you want.

You have to do at least three things to select components for export to your Reporting Assistant database (doc_tool.mdb if you haven't altered the default).
  • On the Options tab, make sure the ODBC data source name is set correctly (for the default it should be DSReporting).

On the Selection tab, make sure that the Jobs check box is checked.

On the Jobs tab you can then multi-select the jobs you want to push into the reporting database. You must select at least one before Update Now will achieve anything.
