An error has occurred during uniVerse initialization
Please contact the system administrator
Error code: 2 2

DataStage Engine has been brought up.
==================
And after that I am not able to connect to datastage server from client(Designer,Director,Administrator,Manager)

Can any body help me out

Well... if the server doesn't start, you won't have much connecting from the client. :wink:

It sounds like your install may not have completed cleanly if bits are missing. :? Were there any errors or messages when you installed the server? Can you try a reinstall?

Code 2 2 indicates that the product is not licensed or that the license has expired.

DBSetup not found definitely suggests that the product has not been properly installed. (This may be something as simple as the /.dshome file not existing.)

Try to remove the Installation fully and re-install it again.In the previous installation you have probably ignored some warning messages. Also please do check the System date of your Machine, it might have a conflict with your License Date Ranges too, MAY BE :(
