Hi all,
Some of the jobs are getting locked due to temporary network disconnection. How to unlock these jobs? Any clues would be appriciated.
Thanks

Hi,
Go to DataStage Director and choose CleanUp resources.

Select the PID# and Release it.

If Datastage director cleanup does not release the job, then do a grep on dsapi_slave and find the pid of the process and kill that.

goto uv and type DS.TOOLS. A menu will appear and choose 5 from that option which gives you all information about locks.

Be aware that the DataStage pid only report 6 digit PIDs. On some Unix boxes, I have found 7 digit PIDs. Be sure to use the correct PID. You may want to verify it with a ps -ef.
