What method in datastage (or command shell) could I use to transfer a file from a Unix server to a Windows 2000 server?

So that means the Windows 2000 server would need to be running an FTP service, right? That's not something standard is it?

Or a network drive, NFS or SAMBA, then you can do native copy commands, or use the sequential stage (but I would not).

You will need to start the FTP service. You need to be 2000 Pro.

Samba is nice as well. Samba makes UNIX look like a NT server. So you can map to it from your Windows PC. Samba is free. It is usually available with your UNIX machine or it is a download from their support sites. It is easy to install. It has a web interface. It has security so you can make it read only to Windows. Lots of cool stuff with it.
