Problem with Installation DataStage - RedHat

Hi,
I have a problem with installation DataStage v 7.1.
Is it possible to do it under Linux Aurix 9.3 or I can do it only useing RedHat AS 2.1?
During unpacking libraries the following error appears:
/mnt/cdrom/install.sh: line 3972: /root/linux/server: This files or director does not existe ERROR: cannot unpack libdslic.so

Ok,
I've just fixed the problem
,
I haven't known that I should have copied directories from cd to /root earlier.
Now everything is OK.
libdslic.so problem

Hi,
I am trying to Install Datastage 7.0 on Red hat Linux and I am facinf same problem "libdslic.so cannot unpack"
Could someone please tell me how to resolve this error. I am in desperate need.

A supported version of Red Hat? It does matter.

Hi Ray,
I am installing DS on
Red Hat 9. Would that be a supported version. I till have problem unpacking
libdslic.so.

Rupesh,
DS is only supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS. You stated you have RedHat 9.3 Aurix so the answer that Ray gave stands. By the way, I looked at RedHat's site and couldn't find any reference to "Aurix"

Hi Andrew,
As you mentioned, and recommendation in readme.txt file of installation cd of DS, I should have RedHat Linux Advance Server 2.1 for installation.
I did install Redhat Linux Advance Server 2.1 and tried installing DS on it, but could not get further, as earlier I was stuck with the following error
Unpacking Support Libraries
ERROR: cannot unpack libdslic.so
Could you suggest where exactly I am goin wrong?
I have created this folder structure under root (as asked for)
/linux/server
and I am running the install.sh from the cdrom with the following command
./mnt/cdrom/install.sh -admin root
But could not get ahead coz of above problem. Could any body tell me why this is happening or am I lacking in preinstallation setup?
Little help would be appreciated.
