Hi,

We are facing problems scheduling jobs with users that are not local administrators of the server where DS ins installed.
The error is:

Error adding to schedule: Access is denied.
(Command was: AT 12:00 vmdsr_sched.exe :\Ascential\DataStage\Projects...the name of the job)

I we add the designated user to the administrators list (and we do not want that for obvious reasons )
, there is no error.
What permissons must the user have to run the Scheduler?
Anyone has come across this problem?

I have bad news for you. I posted in this forum about this topic and opened a case in Ascential too.
Ascential answer was: We could enhance the product to use the newer task scheduling process, however that would require a significant amount of development and has to be considered in the light of other desirable enhancements.

I requested for this enhance and it has #46647.
