Best method to truncate udb/db2 table

Best method to truncate udb/db2 table

Hi Folks,
Could someone suggest which is the best method to truncate a temp table in udb/db2 using "db2 api stage or enterprise stage "after I have done my processing on the temp table.

Any inputs would be great...
