How to call a Routine in a Batch

Hi,

I have a routine to Drive the first and last Date of Financial Year.
This I need to call in a Batch Job Control. Can some one help me to do that Please ?

Hope u are using the Sequencers for batch , there is a Routine Activity stage to call a DS routine.

If you are talking about home-rolled Job Control, then you'll have to declare if first and then let DataStage know it's a 'user defined' routine.

Search the forum for 'DEFFUN' and 'DSU.', you should find several examples of what you need. Just came up yesterday, matter of fact, in the DSWaitForJobList thread.
