Advice needed, please.

Post by fordxhome »

Happy Holidays to all. I'm trying to educate myself in Data warehouse arena. Can someone suggest some good books/training courses/web sites, please? I'm considering buying "The Data Warehouse Toolkit: The Complete Guide to Dimensional Modeling (Second Edition)" by Ralph Kimball and Margy Ross. The book reviews are pretty good. Any suggestions/comments are greatly appreciated.

That's a great book for starters. But, for free, you could always read everything here:

Actually I hate to admit that I actually read this one but "Data Warehousing for Dummies" is pretty good.
