You should not be able to work on the same job at the same time. DataStage locks jobs. You can see what is locked by using DS.TOOLS. Do a search for it in the archives. There is a lot of good information about locks and releasing them. There are other types of locks like synchronization locks which you will probably never need. Do HELP UNLOCK to see all the locks.
