Temp Directory for DataStage

The temp directory for DataStage is specified by the configuration parameter UVTEMP in the uvconfig file. After editing this file you must execute uvregen in the Engine account, and re-start DataStage services.

How big shall the temp directory for DataStage should be created? Are there any suggested location to put the temp directory in? Thank you.

More is better.
Ideally, put in on a disk whose other workload is not too great.
But it's not critical. Space is.
