DS 5.2 on W2000 job log not updated

I'm contracting at a client and suddenly when I run my main batch the sub batches and jobs logs are not updated. I exported and recreated the project and now when I run the batch the sub batches return job finish with status 99 what can cause this and how do I fix it without re-installing.

See if your'e datastage login user has permission on the project file system

Status 99 is a generic error that decodes to "not running". It may help to reset the job, it may not (the "rewind" button in Director will tell you if it's in a state to be reset). Otherwise, compile the jobs, which is like a hard reset.
