Hi,

I'm working with Data Stage 5.2 running under Sun Solaris and the scheduler is not working,

The Ascential Support recommend reinstall the software, but the result is the same,

When i schedule any job, and view the jobs using at -l in the prompt i can see its, but never run..

Somebody knows what is the problem??

Hi,

Are your permissions on the Solaris set up so you can run a "cron" job? You must have permission to run the "cron" and "at" UNIX commands, which the scheduler uses. Check with the Sysadmin to see if you have permission.

my user has all permissions on the solaris, i dont understand what is the problem, in this moments Ascential Support is connecting to my server using a modem to check the configuration..

Hi,

Check if the invoking user default shell is other than ksh - it can cause problems
