FIND & REPLACE

Post by karthi_gana »

All,

I have used #off_funds.SourceDSN# in more than 150 jobs. Now i would like to replace it as #SourceDSN#. I am doing it manually now :(

is there any way to do it ? :(

i am looking kind of 'FIND & REPLACE'.

Import those jobs as dsx format and then do find replace in that dsx file through notepad or textpad.

Two notes:
1) BACKUP ALL YOUR JOBS before you do the export / import? Why? Because
2) Manual editing of DSX files is not supported / recommended by IBM. It can be dangerous and can corrupt your jobs if you aren't careful.

If you have an unedited backup you can always re-load and try again.
