Friends,

Nice to work on DS 8 except that all BW jobs fail to load data into SAP Business Warehouse.

Search on this Forum is pathetic.

Any help in this regard is appreciated.

1. DS 8.1 Server Job loading data from a CSV file to BW Master Data (InfoObject). InfoPackage scheduled to run evey month on 1st morning at 9.00 AM.

2. DS job is called properly via RFC, completes in time shows n records loaded successfully to BW (RFC log confirms the same).

3. Properties of DS Job for BW Pack - Data Load Method = FILE.

4. Master data in BW shows "No idocs received from the source system".

5. Tried the above procedure using Data Load Method = PULL/PUSH, and surpised to see that it load the data absolutely fine.

6. Procedure described in Pt. no. 5 is fine except that about 2000 Ds jobs run and hence impractical to modify them and get them compiled.

Hope, the probelm description is enough.

I have raised a PMr with IBM and waiting their response.

Shall close this thread afterwards for I beleive, this BW stage is hardly used by any DataStage user.

Had to go for complete (from scratch) installation.

Problem solved.
