DataStage job failure ***TYPE 30 descriptor***

Post by yaminids »

Friends,

For the past couple of days, some of our DataStage jobs have been failing with the following warnings/errors

1) JobControl (@Job1): Controller problem: Error calling DSPrepareJob(RTL_MNG_INFO) (DSGetJobInfo) Failed to open RT_LOG125 file

2) Unable to allocate Type 30 descriptor, table is full.

Did you guys run into this error before? If so, can you please help in solving the issue

Thanks a bunch

Search, search, search. An Exact Search for "Unable to allocate Type 30 descriptor" will reveal all.

The parameter in question is T30FILE. Your search will find posts that indicate what you must do in order to change it.
