Hi,
we have outsourced much of our development work to a firm in India and was wondering if there is a laundry list of ports that need to be opened in order for them to connect to our server. If not, is there a way for me to determine the ports?
Thanks - - John

However, that's pretty specific to 8.x, it's it much simpler for earlier versions? Isn't is just 31538 assuming you haven't changed the default port?

We haven't changed the default port so we may just try opening 31538. We are in the processing of migrating all our projects to the enetrprise edition 8.0.1 so I'll keep this opened for the 8.o ports as well.

Thanks!! :D

Those appear to be for the PX version of the tool.

check if there is any firewall.that may prevent client connections to server.

install the datastage client in local
give prvileage to developers to access the datastage server through remote client.
