Viewing Dataset form Production envi UNIX.

Is it possible to view the dataset from production environment(UNIX). using the command. $orchadmin dump [options] descriptorfile.ds.

But if it were a PX installation and a valid dataset, then the answer is "yes"

The catch here is - what do you mean by "from production environment" ?
