Unable to Open Datastage Manager

Unable to Open Datastage Manager

Hi All,


I am able to open Datastage Designer, Director, Administrator. But not able to Open Datastage Manager...

Everytime I try to open Manager getting the following error : -

The connection was refused or the RPC daemon is not running (81016)

Pls help in resolving the same.

Remember seeing exactly (almost) similar post few days ago.

It was DS 7.5.1 which required a patch.

If this happens to just you and no-one else, then I would suggest a complete removal of the existing client and a reinstall. If it happens to everyone, then bigger issues are afoot.

I have reinstalled the client but still i am facing this issue, nobody else is facing this problem other than me.

How about answering some of the questions posed earlier in the thread:

- does this happen to only your client or do others have the same problem?

- did you or did you not install a patch for this problem?

I'd also like to confirm that this is only the Manager or does it also happen with the Designer / Director?
