Any isssues encountered in upgrading to V8.1

Hi All,
We are using DB2 UDB version 9 and plan to perform the following upgrades:
DB2 Connect V9.5 64 bits AIX
Datastage from V7.5.2 (32 bit) to V8.1 (64bit)
Will there be any conflict if Datastage is not upgraded ?
Are there any known issues encountered during the upgrade process for systems using the above configuration ?
