Problem INSERTing "£" (pound) character

Corvus' "NLS details" are for the locale.
Phil Hibbs is referring to NLS character maps.

Hi,

I did try with NLS Map ISO8859-1 and ISO8859-1+MARKS. I am receiving the following warning and the row is being rejected. However, using these two NLS maps I am able to view the pound character in the source stage but it is not getting inserted using the same NLS.

DBMS.CODE=-302, SQLSTATE=22001, [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/AIX64] SQL0302N The value of a host variable in the EXECUTE or OPEN statement is too large for its corresponding use. SQLSTATE=22001
