hi Friends,
Requierement is that i have to connect to a db2 database through datastage.For this i need to create a db2 DSN in a server for datastage.

Question is whether we have to install db2 client for this purpose and what are the files where entries have to be registered to create the db2 DSN.

There are myriad possibilities, all described in a document created by Ascential support and available through your support provider. DSN technically is only for ODBC.
